EAFC Pro required a motion language that could operate across high-energy, competitive environments while maintaining clarity and brand authority. The system needed to scale from broadcast graphics and social cutdowns to in-arena screens and digital platforms — without losing cohesion or impact.

The challenge wasn’t just to animate assets — it was to define how the brand behaves in motion. We treated the identity as a performance system rather than a static toolkit.

The core principle was controlled intensity & immersion. Every motion decision had to reinforce that tension: dynamic but never chaotic, bold but never decorative. Typography and graphic framing devices became the primary carriers of energy, not visual effects.

Each component of the identity was assigned behavioural rules:
  • Typography: Acts as the anchor. Weight shifts, scale transitions, and directional movement reflect momentum and competitive progression. Type never drifts — it advances with intent.
  • Pacing: Built around acceleration and compression. Moments of restraint create contrast before impact beats.
  • Transitions: Structured around sharp directional wipes and spatial pushes — echoing movement on the pitch without literal references. It also reinforces the idea of immersion which was a key aspect of the brand identity.
  • Density & Hierarchy: Information layers reveal in controlled bursts, prioritising legibility under pressure.

Rather than designing one hero animation, the focus was defining repeatable motion principles that could be applied across deliverables.

The motion framework was deployed across:
  • Broadcast package
  • Social media cutdowns
  • Digital promotional assets
  • Event screen content
  • Merch concepts
  • Set/staging design concepts
